Joe and Amy's crisp October wedding last year was just perfectly planned and designed with gorgeous autumn colors and decor. From the wine colored bridesmaid dresses, to the cafe au lait dahlias and orange pumpkins, the color theme was exactly fitting! DeLille Cellars, while often seen as a summer venue, was just right for this fall soiree! Betty Elaine captured everything so elegantly and you can just feel the love between these two. 🙂

Allison and David had a gorgeous day for their wedding at Trinity Tree Farm. And the couple put together some beautiful decor elements that made such a huge impact on the atmosphere of the celebration, including the florals and centerpieces! The bride also made 1000 tiny folded paper cranes as one of the sweet traditions they included in their wedding day. Check out these beautiful photos from the talented Vail Studio!

Eric and Alicia were married at Snohomish's lovely Dairyland venue. It was a crisp Saturday in April and the weather held up beautifully! Blue skies and sunshine shone down on this sweet couple's special day. Another sweet unexpected detail - the groom surprised the bride with the super cool Shutter Bus Photo Booth after the ceremony! We were able to supply some beautiful displays to make their market theme really stand out and Dairyland's gorgeous interior and exterior was the perfect backdrop for the day!

When Kim and Shannon from the PNW wedding podcast, Fom Ring to Veil, invited us to be on their show, I was a little nervous! I'm not the type who enjoys public speaking 😉 But since I got to be on the podcast with my dad and Twelve Baskets owner, John Bagge, it was so much fun and we're grateful to have been a part of it! Kim and Shannon made it super easy and great - their blooming podcast is a wonderful tool and resource for anyone getting married or planning a big party.
Our episode just aired today and you can find it on their website or subscribe on iTunes to get each new episode and never miss a tip!
You can also follow along on From Ring to Veil's Facebook or twitter for help planning your big day!

Our owners' daughter, Jodi Bagge, was married last year at the woodsy and natural Woodland Meadow Farms wedding venue in Snohomish. After a beautiful ceremony where guests surrounded the couple in a circle, the entire wedding party loaded into a tractor drawn antique trailor and played instruments and sang songs to the bride and groom while the wedding guests drove caravan style down the country road behind them to Dairyland for the reception waving hand-made ribbon batons from their windows. The whimsical feel of the day was captured beautifully by Green Ginger Photography and we are honored to share the feature on Green Wedding Shoes wedding site here.

Last weekend we had the opportunity of being a part of an awesome event at Fischer Pavillion at Seattle Center. Random House put on a retreat conference to celebrate New York Times bestselling author Diana Gabaldon's new book in her Outlander series and we were so pleased to participate in the fun. We served an assortment of cheese from the British Isles and France, traditional Scottish breads, oatcakes, pickled onion, and chutneys, displayed dramatically with in-period decor, on silver and pewter platters with tartan accents, tray passed Mini Shepherds Pies, Smoked Salmon Oatcake Canape, Scottish Meatballs, Gazpacho Andaluz Shooters, and had Dessert Buffet of Scottish Shortbread Cookies, Lavender Fudge, Traditional Chocolate Fudge, and fruit kabobs with honey yogurt dip. It was a real medieval feast! We also served some fun non alcoholic beverages with ice cubes holding frozen herbs and berries - what a cute look. Our team had so much fun putting this event together and loved being able to create such a dreamy and magical set up. The staff on hand at the event had a blast as well; we even had traditional Scottish outfits on our bartenders - which of course the guests absolutely loved!
The biggest compliment we received that day were all of the photographs being taken on handheld devices and guests' smartphones. We knew we had made an impression!
Can't wait to check out the new Starz series starting August 9th. But first, need to pick up a copy of Outlander to read 😉

Gorgeous floral installations: Love Blooms Event Design
Mary and Kerry love their DAWGS so much they decided to have a UW Husky Tailgate themed wedding! Their colors were shades of purple and yellow and every little detail worked right into their theme from the beautiful yellow bridesmaid dresses and purple floral arrangements to the fresh lemonade and sprigs of lavender tucked into the napkins at each place setting. The private cabin they chose for their ceremony and reception was just breathtaking. They were married overlooking Cle Elum Lake and their reception tent was surrounded by tall trees and lots of natural beauty. Seattle Farm Tables was an obvious choice to go with the fun PNW feel the couple was looking for - and the tables added so much to the look of the reception. And the Lemonade stand?! SO cute! You'll need to scroll down right now to look at it... go on, I'll wait... CUTE right!?!?! I could go on and on about all the lovely little details, and the amazing photos taken by One Love Photo, but I should also point out the awesome thing they did for their favors(I guess I should say lack of favors) - they had donations made in their guests honor to an organization in Africa called The Last Ten Kilometers project that is working on improving health care in rural areas of Ethiopia. What a cool idea.
