About Twelve Baskets Catering

When owner John Bagge began Twelve Baskets Catering in 1976, eating and buying locally was simply his way of life. Once the local eating ethic became a selling point, our company didn’t need to reinvent itself – we have been offering local-food catering to Seattle and Bellevue for more than three decades.

We at Twelve Baskets Catering also know that, sadly, the food industry in general produces a lot of waste. Over the years, we have been focusing our efforts on reducing the impact of the excess. In addition to gradually eliminating plastic from our catering options, increasing our use of compostable products, and keeping up with sustainable practices, we have also been joining with local non-profit organizations that are continuing the good effort of feeding impoverished communities and supplying homeless shelters with much needed food.

Besides our own kitchen's leftovers, through the kindness of our clients, we are also able to donate any food left over from an event. We make sure our food is properly kept to temp and chilled for pick up or we can have leftovers delivered straight from an event to one of these organizations.

Adding flavor to philosophy, our team contributes decades of culinary expertise to Twelve Baskets Catering. Our commitment to delicious food is a significant addition to the company’s sustainability and waste-elimination equation.
